Blackstone Territorial Park Structures

Blackstone Territorial Park

Completed in 1989

This project involved a series of seasonal, low-maintenance park structures including a bath house, viewing towers, and cooking shelter. All elements were designed to use simple, locally-available materials including natural logs, boards, and corrugated galvanized metal.

In summer, the shelter unfolds to accept natural light, and passively self-ventilates.
