TAG provided design services for the conversion of a space in Centre Square Mall into the new Yellowknife Visitors' Centre.

Visitors are invited into the space by a prominent reception desk made of interlocking wood blocks, and a living wall featuring local mosses. The space incorporates touches that reflect Yellowknife's unique character: a sealed concrete floor is decorated with a gold leaf finish, referencing the city's mining history, and a display space is dedicated to the culture and stories of the Yellowknives Dene First Nation. A sliding door between the art gallery and reception area allows the spaces to be opened up and combined for events, like art openings.
